As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will shape and deliver modern cloud-based solutions within the Group Protection tech team. You’ll influence technical direction and build scalable, secure applications, contributing across the full software delivery lifecycle. Collaborating with product owners and engineers, you’ll turning ideas into impactful outcomes while mentoring teammates and driving engineering excellence. - Own and evolve services and applications across their lifecycle
- Collaborate with product owners to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Design, develop and deploy scalable applications using modern practices
- Improve quality via automated testing, observability, and continuous improvement
- Lead technical problem-solving and support incident investigations
- Promote secure software development and engineering best practices
- Mentor engineers to raise technical capability
- Contribute to architectural decisions and reduce technical debt
- Strong experience in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience building RESTful microservices in Spring Boot, Node.js or similar
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure) and containers
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps (GitHub Actions preferred)
- Understanding of software design principles, clean architecture and TDD
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban)
