Senior Full Stack Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer based in India.

This is an opportunity to join a cross-functional engineering team building sophisticated, high-impact digital products.
You’ll work across the full stack, designing and implementing complex web applications using modern engineering practices.
The role combines hands-on development with a strong focus on scalability, performance, quality, and reliable delivery.
You’ll contribute to improving engineering standards, CI/CD practices, and development workflows across the team.

• Design and implement complex web applications using established architectural approaches, engineering standards, and development best practices.
• Build and optimize high-performance applications across the frontend and backend, contributing to scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Apply appropriate API architectures and design patterns, including monolithic, microservices, and serverless approaches.
• Improve engineering and quality standards within the development team and help colleagues consistently adopt best practices.
• Create CI/CD pipelines using templates and established tooling, while collaborating with DevOps teams on more complex deployment pipelines.
• Contribute to application deployment and infrastructure configuration, including containerized environments and cloud-based solutions.
• Participate in technical hiring processes, including interviews and evaluation of engineering candidates.
• Coach and support mid-level and junior engineers when required by the project.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot challenges, improve delivery quality, and continuously evolve engineering practices.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in full-stack software development, with a solid understanding of modern web application architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, including advanced features and the development of high-performance applications.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript and React.
• Experience designing and implementing solutions using different API architectural styles, including monoliths, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, development standards, and scalable solution architecture.
• Experience working with complex database queries and aggregations.
• Practical experience with software testing approaches, tools, and quality assurance practices.
• Familiarity with code quality metrics and processes for maintaining high engineering standards.
• Hands-on experience with application deployment patterns and containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience configuring infrastructure and applications in AWS.
• Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven or distributed systems is desirable.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor engineers and contribute effectively within a cross-functional team.
• Willingness to participate in technical interviews and contribute to hiring decisions is expected.
