- Solid database skills across SQL and NoSQL, including data modeling, schema design, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.
- Practical experience building production interfaces with React or Next.js and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and production observability, including logging, metrics, and tracing.
- Proficient with AI assiting tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode to support development, debugging, and testing, with sound judgment in reviewing and validating generated code.
- Good engineering judgment: you can break down ambiguous requirements, explain tradeoffs, and balance quality with delivery.
