Summary

Senior full-stack engineer at Mila Health shipping end-to-end features for consumer digital health products (patient apps, clinical tooling, commerce) in a fast-moving scaleup. Stack is TypeScript everywhere: Next.js on Vercel, a Turborepo + Bun monorepo, Stream Chat, and BigQuery/dbt/Metabase.

Great healthcare shouldn't feel like healthcare. We build medical care that works like the best consumer products: personal, fast, and in your pocket. From first click to medication at your door, every step runs on code our team writes.

TL;DR

Mila Health is the company behind Fellos and Goodweigh, two fast-growing digital health brands that together form an end-to-end platform putting people at the helm of their own health. We grew from tens of thousands of euros in early 2025 to €2.7M in June 2026 (€32M annual run rate), over 3,100% year-on-year, with proven unit economics and early traction in Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. We've raised over €7 million in funding to fuel our rise across Europe.

We're here to achieve an extraordinary outcome: serve more than 1 million patients excellently, reach €100M revenue by 2027, and €500M by 2030, becoming the most holistic health platform in Europe. We've achieved a lot, but 100% of the work lies ahead.

What you'd be building

Consumer health products that people actually use, and love using. Think a polished onboarding that turns a sensitive health question into a five-minute intake, a patient app where you chat with your doctor, track your progress, and see your results improve week over week, and a checkout-to-doorstep experience that feels like the best e-commerce out there, except it delivers real medical care.

Behind that consumer experience sits something most health startups don't have: our own licensed medical practice and pharmacy. So you're not building a CRUD layer on top of someone else's API. Everything from the first ad click to the medication arriving at your door runs through code we write: web, mobile app, clinical tooling, commerce, logistics, and messaging, across four countries and growing.

We're a core team of 10–15, working alongside a 40+ strong medical team of doctors, nurses, and medical students and a 20+ person patient support team, and we're scaling toward Series A.

Some of what's on the roadmap right now: launching our patient mobile app, opening new care verticals, expanding to new countries, and building out the data and insights layer that will power truly personal care.

The stack

  • Monorepo: Turborepo + Bun, TypeScript everywhere
  • Web: Next.js (App Router), deployed on Vercel
  • Messaging: Stream Chat
  • Analytics & growth: BigQuery + dbt + Metabase, Customer.io

Modern, no legacy, and you'll have a say in where it goes next. You merge, it ships: code is live in production within minutes, and we deploy multiple times a day, every day.

What you'll own

  • Ship end-to-end features: from patient-facing UX to clinical tooling to pharmacy operations
  • Own features from product conversation through deploy: no ticket factory, no six layers of approval
  • Work directly with the founders, our new Tech Lead, operations, and the medical team
  • Improve performance, reliability, and developer experience as we scale across markets
  • Help shape engineering practices in a team that's still small enough for your opinion to matter

Who you are

We hire product engineers: full‑stack builders who care about what the user experiences, not just what the code does.

  • 5+ years of professional full-stack experience, ideally in TypeScript
  • Startup/scaleup experience or serious side projects are a big plus. We like people who build things because they can't help it
  • Comfortable owning a feature across frontend, backend, and data
  • Pragmatic: you ship, measure, and iterate rather than gold-plate
  • You want context, not just tickets. You ask why before how
  • You thrive on autonomy and responsibility, and you're honest about it: we move fast and the pressure is real
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
  • Based in the Netherlands

What we offer

  • €70–90k depending on experience
  • Equity opportunities open up for people who prove themselves in the first six months. If you're helping build this, we want you to share in the upside
  • Real ownership and autonomy: you get the problem and the context, and you're trusted to solve it, in a domain where your work directly affects patients' health
  • A modern stack with zero legacy
  • Direct access to founders and fast decision-making
  • Scope that grows with us: joining at €32M run rate on the way to €500M means your role expands faster here than almost anywhere else

The practical stuff:

  • Hybrid working: at least 3 days per week at our office in Amsterdam (full-time in office during onboarding, so you're up to speed fast)
  • An annual work-from-anywhere week
  • 25 vacation days (based on 40 hours)
  • Free lunch at the office
  • Company laptop, or bring your own if that's your preference

We're a high-pressure, fast-moving environment. If you want a place where things are calm and predictable, this isn't it. If you want to build something big and see your work matter every week, it is.
