YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build, and scale high-performance platforms in a real-time, transaction-heavy environment
- Develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript within a microservices architecture
- Contribute to front-end development using Angular
- Work with distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- Collaborate closely with product teams to deliver scalable, reliable features
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy
- Implement automated testing across all levels
- Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth, reliable deployments
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices
- Operate in an agile, delivery-focused team with strong ownership
OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE
- 5+ years' experience in software engineering
- Strong backend development experience (Node.js, ideally NestJS)
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Strong SQL/database experience (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
- Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems
- Exposure to Angular or similar front-end frameworks
- Cloud platform experience (advantageous)
- CI/CD experience (GitLab or similar preferred)
- Strong testing practices across the development lifecycle
- Experience in financial services, payments, or regulated environments (highly advantageous)
- Exposure to crypto, digital assets, or stablecoin environments (highly advantageous)
