Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python/React)

We are building a data governance and data exploration platform and need a Senior Full Stack Engineer to deliver reliable, scalable end-to-end features across the frontend and backend. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, improve performance and code quality, and help modernize development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design responsive, user-friendly web interfaces aligned with modern UI/UX practices
• Build and maintain server-side components using Python and FastAPI
• Optimize backend performance, scalability, and reliability across services
• Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and designers to integrate frontend and backend components
• Implement efficient database schemas and SQL queries for data storage and retrieval
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code aligned with agreed standards
• Test and debug applications to resolve defects and performance bottlenecks
• Use AI coding agents to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and safety
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Partner with DevOps engineers to deploy and operate applications in production
• Propose improvements based on new tools and industry trends
• Provide technical guidance and unblock teammates when needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of full stack development experience with Python and React
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI for backend development
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS and JavaScript for frontend development
• Strong experience with Amazon Web Services in production environments
• Must-have experience with AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker
• Experience with REST API
