Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Python + Vue.js)

Summary

Build and scale a Python/Django backend and Vue.js frontend for an image search product, including FAISS/Elasticsearch indexing and AWS deployment.

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to strengthen our team and contribute to the development of a cutting-edge image search product.

Design, build, and maintain backend services for the client's image search product using Python and Django REST Framework
Develop and extend frontend features using Vue.js (Vue 3, Composition API), JavaScript, and TypeScript
Implement and improve image search and similarity capabilities, including feature extraction and indexing pipelines (FAISS, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch)
Build, deploy, and scale services on AWS infrastructure (EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, ALB, EC2, ECS, Graviton), collaborating directly with the existing engineering team
Support data processing workflows, including image ingestion, segmentation, FAISS indexing, and batch processing scripts
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint ceremonies within a distributed team environment
Ensure services are performant, reliable, and maintainable as the platform scales

Minimum 4 years of software development experience
Strong proficiency in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF)
Hands-on experience with Vue.js (Vue 3, Composition API), JavaScript/TypeScript, and HTTP client libraries such as Axios
Experience working with vector search tools (FAISS), Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, and feature extraction pipelines
Practical experience deploying and managing services on AWS, including familiarity with EKS (Kubernetes), RDS, S3, CloudFront, ALB, EC2, or ECS
Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Prior experience in the Intellectual Property (IP) industry is strongly preferred
Additional Backend Experience: Java
General familiarity with AI-powered image search or retrieval systems (deep ML research background is not required)
Experience with Docker, GitHub/Git, Jenkins pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
Exposure to natural language search, text-to-image retrieval, or Elasticsearch query tuning
Experience building or maintaining image ingestion pipelines, segmentation workflows, or batch processing scripts at scale
