We’re hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a contract, remote role focused on agentic coding. You’ll write 90%+ of your code in an exclusively agentic coding environment such as Claude Code (or a similar setup). This is not a “vibe coder” position—we expect strong fundamentals, thoughtful engineering, and disciplined delivery.
Your goals
- Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of our web applications.
- Build agentic systems, pipelines, and workflows that reliably support our data and product needs.
- Ensure quality through manual testing, debugging, and performance-focused iteration.
- Deploy scalable solutions and keep them operating smoothly.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Create and evolve user-facing features in the React/TypeScript ecosystem.
- Implement and maintain server-side functionality in Django and related services.
- Work with Cloudflare for performance and delivery considerations.
- Develop and maintain data/ops workflows using Dagster (and related pipeline patterns).
- Design “agentic” workflows and pipelines that translate LLM-driven capabilities into dependable software behavior.
- Perform manual testing, debugging, and validation to ensure correctness and usability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering work with product goals.
- Stay current with technology trends and apply them pragmatically where they improve outcomes.
Required
- Very high English proficiency (clear communication, strong writing, and the ability to collaborate effectively).
- At least 4 years of full stack experience, with solid experience in the React/TypeScript ecosystem.
- At least 6 months of experience working exclusively in an agentic coding environment (e.g., Claude Code, Codex).
- We require that the work is done in an agentic coding environment; VSCode Copilot and “copy/paste from ChatGPT” do not count as agentic coding experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong product design sense (we care about UX and practical product judgment).
- Ability to understand fundamentals, not just generate code—debugging, reasoning about behavior, and ensuring correctness.
Bonus (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
How we work
- You’ll proactively turn ambiguous requirements into well-structured engineering plans.
- You’ll communicate trade-offs and risks early, and you’ll verify outcomes through hands-on testing.
- You’ll bring a “build, measure, improve” mindset to performance, reliability, and user experience.
- We provide a Claude code max plan ($100 per month plan, $200 if you need it)
- High ownership of the codebase and the product
