About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications from concept to deployment, covering both front-end and back-end components.
• Write clean, efficient, testable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver features.
• Design and manage databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Integrate with third-party services and build robust APIs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full stack.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and standards.
• Contribute to architectural design discussions and technology selection.
• Stay updated with emerging web technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Vue.js, Angular) and related frameworks.
• Expertise in back-end development languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, Java/Spring).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Demonstrated interest in technology for social impact is highly valued.
