- 5+ years of software development experience
- Professional experience with Scala in production environments
- Professional experience with TypeScript, Angular, and/or React
- Experience building secure, scalable, and testable APIs
- Strong grasp of concurrent programming, server-side development, and modern software design principles
- Familiarity with Git, issue tracking tools (like JIRA), and agile development practices
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
- Experience building role-based authorization systems (e.g., JWT, OAuth)
- Experience building applications with security best practices
- Exposure to SQL and relational database systems
- Knowledge of front-end performance and UI consistency using Angular
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
