The 4 Point Management is a software technology development engineering company seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build and enhance reliable web applications. Based in Manama, this role works across the application stack, translating product and business needs into maintainable software and contributing to technical decisions.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain user-facing features and server-side application components.
- Create and integrate APIs, data models, and services to support secure, performant applications.
- Collaborate with engineering and product colleagues to clarify requirements, estimate work, and deliver features.
- Review code, improve software quality, and contribute to architecture and engineering standards.
- Investigate defects and performance issues, then implement and verify durable fixes.
- Document technical decisions and support dependable deployment and ongoing application maintenance.
This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Manama for an experienced engineer who can take ownership of work across frontend and backend systems and help the team deliver thoughtful, production-ready software.
Job Specification
- Strong professional experience building and maintaining full-stack web applications.
- Proficiency with at least one modern frontend framework and core HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Backend development experience with a contemporary programming language and web framework.
- Ability to design and consume RESTful APIs and work with relational or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of application architecture, authentication, security, and performance fundamentals.
- Experience writing tests, debugging complex issues, and using version control such as Git.
- Familiarity with code review, CI/CD workflows, and cloud or container-based deployment practices.
- Strong analytical problem-solving, clear technical communication, and effective collaboration skills.
- Ability to take ownership of delivery, balance trade-offs, and produce readable, maintainable code.
