Senior Full Stack Engineer, Web & 3D Integrations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer, Web & 3D Integrations based in United States.

Join a global, remote engineering team building sophisticated web-based 3D tools that support a large-scale digital manufacturing operation. You will help connect 3D design capabilities with the systems, workflows, and infrastructure required to operate them reliably at scale. The role combines full-stack development with backend services, cloud integrations, data instrumentation, and distributed systems. You will work across TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform, THREE.js, C++, and WebAssembly. Your work will directly improve the speed, quality, cost, and scalability of patient-matched digital manufacturing workflows. This is an opportunity to solve meaningful technical challenges in a remote-first environment while shaping the quality and reliability of an evolving 3D technology platform.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications that support a sophisticated suite of 3D design interactions and provide intuitive, efficient experiences for internal users.
  • Orchestrate the availability of 3D tools across internal workflows by responding to supply-chain events, coordinating workforce capacity, and ensuring the right capabilities are available when needed.
  • Build systems that coordinate the submission, cloud storage, processing, and distribution of browser-based CAD outputs to remote manufacturing centers.
  • Develop and maintain internal APIs, endpoints, and microservices that enable reliable communication between applications, operational workflows, and supporting systems.
  • Instrument engineering tools and workflows to generate meaningful data insights that can be used to plan, forecast, monitor, and improve capacity, throughput, and operational performance.
  • Design and maintain integrations with third-party APIs, including transmitting 3D data payloads for external processing and retrieving resulting outputs for downstream workflows.
  • Investigate and resolve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, balancing reliability, maintainability, performance, and delivery needs.
  • Write clean, maintainable code that follows established engineering standards and best practices, while actively contributing to those standards through thoughtful code reviews.
  • Advocate for continuous improvements in product quality, application security, system performance, and overall engineering practices.
  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 4 years focused on backend development with TypeScript and Node.js.
    • Strong experience building and supporting backend systems using technologies such as Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, APIs, microservices, and related server-side frameworks.
    • Full-stack development experience with the ability to contribute across frontend and backend systems, particularly in modern web application environments.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and take ownership of work in a remote-first environment.
    • A collaborative, team-oriented approach combined with a high level of initiative, accountability, and willingness to proactively identify and solve problems.
    • Strong communication skills, particularly the ability to clearly communicate technical risks, trade-offs, dependencies, and proposed solutions to teammates and stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with 3D file formats, 3D data transmission and storage, and cloud infrastructure supporting 3D workflows is a strong advantage.
    • Experience working with digital dental design tools or other specialized 3D design software is considered a valuable bonus.
    • Benefits:

      • Comprehensive and inclusive benefits for full-time employees, tailored to the country in which you are based.
      • Healthcare and dental coverage designed to support employees and their families.
      • Mental health support and wellbeing resources.
      • Parental planning and family-support resources.
      • Retirement savings options.
      • Generous paid time off and other locally tailored leave benefits.
      • Opportunity to work remotely as part of a global engineering organization.
      • Exposure to modern technologies spanning full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, APIs, microservices, 3D applications, C++, and WebAssembly.
      • Opportunity to contribute to complex technology that connects digital 3D design with large-scale operational and manufacturing workflows.
