Your Role in Our Mission

As a Senior Full Stack Engineering Lead, you will own the design, development, and scaling of FundedNext’s core brokerage technology — from order execution pipelines to social trading platforms and CRM infrastructure. You’ll lead the Trading & Instruments Squad, ensuring our systems deliver sub‑50ms execution latency, 99.95% uptime, and a seamless client experience across forex, CFDs, indices, commodities, and futures. This is a high‑accountability leadership role for someone who thrives on building mission‑critical trading infrastructure from the ground up.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Order & Execution Management

  • Own the end‑to‑end design and development of OMS/EMS systems — ensuring reliable order routing, execution, and position management.
  • Architect trade execution pipelines covering validation, price aggregation, LP routing, fill confirmation, and post‑trade processing.
  • Design and implement swap management systems — including overnight financing charges, Islamic account logic, and daily settlement accuracy.

Copy Trading, PAMM/MAM & Social Trading

  • Build and own copy trading solutions — enabling configurable allocation, risk controls, and real‑time synchronization.
  • Architect PAMM/MAM systems — supporting fund managers with allocation models, performance fee calculations, and investor reporting.
  • Design social trading platforms — including trader profiles, leaderboards, strategy marketplaces, and community engagement features.

Brokerage Infrastructure & CRM

  • Build and maintain in‑house brokerage CRM — client lifecycle management, KYC, IB hierarchies, and operational workflows.
  • Develop instrument management layers — supporting 300+ instruments with spread, leverage, margin, and session configuration.
  • Own integration with liquidity providers, bridge technology, and price feed aggregation for competitive execution.
  • Build back‑office tools — dashboards for position monitoring, risk exposure, trade corrections, and compliance reporting.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead the Trading & Instruments Squad — sprint planning, technical direction, and cross‑squad coordination.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with trading operations, risk, compliance, and leadership — translating business needs into technical delivery.
  • Establish coding standards, architecture patterns, and documentation for scalable trading systems.
  • Own the technology roadmap for trading and instruments, aligning technical priorities with brokerage business goals.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Financial Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years at a forex brokerage or retail trading platform (mandatory).
  • Proven hands‑on experience building brokerage technology in‑house (OMS/EMS, execution engines, copy trading, PAMM/MAM, CRM).
  • Expert‑level proficiency in C++, Python, PHP for high‑throughput, low‑latency trading backends.
  • Solid proficiency in Node.js for real‑time services and Next.js for dashboards and client interfaces.
  • Deep understanding of forex/CFD market microstructure — order types, execution models, liquidity aggregation, spreads, swaps, margin, and leverage.
  • Experience with FIX protocol and LP APIs for order routing and price feeds.
  • Experience building copy trading/social trading features and PAMM/MAM fund management models.
  • Strong database architecture skills (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for high‑frequency trade data and audit‑ready ledgers.
  • Experience customizing brokerage CRM systems — onboarding, IB hierarchies, KYC, and dashboards.
  • 2+ years in technical leadership — running sprints, mentoring engineers, managing dependencies, and representing squads.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills in brokerage contexts.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, CySEC, FCA, or equivalent).

Your X‑Factor

  • Ensuring execution speed, reliability, and trader trust at scale.
  • By owning OMS/EMS, copy trading, PAMM/MAM, and social trading systems, it directly drives client acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Leadership of the Trading & Instruments Squad sets the technical direction for mission‑critical systems, aligning engineering delivery with business growth and compliance.
  • The position transforms brokerage technology into a strategic differentiator, enabling FundedNext to compete globally as a high‑volume retail trading platform.
