Senior Full Stack Java Developer – Digital Banking
Salary: RM 15,000 – RM 19,000 per month
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join our technology team and contribute to the development of enterprise-scale digital banking applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, RESTful APIs, web services, full-stack development, databases and DevOps/CI/CD, with exposure to digital banking or eCommerce applications.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain scalable enterprise software applications.
Develop backend services using Java/J2EE and RESTful web services.
Design and develop APIs using REST, JSON and XML.
Apply object-oriented design and MVC principles.
Develop and integrate frontend applications and enterprise services.
Work with RDBMS databases and data models.
Participate in application development within Linux/Unix environments.
Develop scripts using technologies such as Python, Perl or JavaScript.
Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools to automate build, testing and deployment.
Collaborate with business, technical and cross-functional stakeholders.
About you
10–12 years of experience in enterprise software development.
Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE.
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, JSON and XML.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and MVC.
Good knowledge of RDBMS and data modelling, with experience in more than one database.
Experience with Linux/Unix development environments.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl or JavaScript.
Full-stack development experience is highly preferred.
Good understanding of modern web and mobile frontend technologies.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps toolchains.
