Design secure Java platforms onsite, spanning user interfaces, APIs, services, workflows, integrations, and data-access layers. Apply REST and microservices expertise.
This senior full stack developer builds enterprise capabilities supporting multiple government programs. The work includes reusable platform services and connections for registries, permitting, payments, identity, and documents. You will translate approved specifications into tested, maintainable applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop frontend, backend, API, and workflow components
- Build Java microservices, REST APIs, and reusable platform services
- Develop database objects, queries, transformations, and conversion routines
- Create automated unit, integration, API, database, and interface tests
- Provide production support and troubleshoot technical problems
Requirements:
- Ten or more years designing large-scale, multi-client web applications
- Extensive Java experience with Oracle, SQL, or relational databases
- Significant REST API, microservice, and Internet-ready application experience
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, JSON Web Tokens, and SSL certificates
- Five days onsite and Ontario Public Service knowledge preferred
