Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer
Salary: £59,000 - 99,000 per year
Requirements:- Extensive experience in Kotlin and JVM
- Strong experience in Java and the full development lifecycle delivering user-centred digital solutions
- Exposure to Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js or Nunjucks
- Proven track record of contributing to the delivery of high-quality, robust, and scalable solutions
- Expertise in building back-end services using Spring Boot and the wider Spring Framework
- Experience in microservices design and architecture, including RESTful API services
- Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and DevOps practices including containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Proficient in using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps
- Desirable: previous experience working on GOV/NHS projects or in a consultancy environment
- Desirable: knowledge of Kafka or other asynchronous messaging systems
- Desirable: knowledge of Helm
- Lead the production of user-centred software, ensuring development follows business requirements and best practice
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to explore, design, and deliver solutions to complex client problems
- Take ownership of software development and deployment pipelines, resolving issues and potential bottlenecks
- Communicate and present prototypes, solutions, and progress to internal and external stakeholders in a clear, concise manner
- Mentor and coach other engineers to support their professional development
- Act as a Senior Consultant delivering Kotlin development services to our clients
