We're currently partnering with a leading global financial services organisation to hire a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer for a long-term contract opportunity. You'll join a highly skilled global technology team responsible for developing and enhancing business-critical compliance platforms that support front-office and regulatory functions across international markets.
This role is ideal for a senior-level engineer who enjoys operating across the full development lifecycle, from architecture and design through to hands-on development, optimisation, and production support. You'll play a key role in shaping technical solutions, working closely with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver robust, scalable applications in a complex enterprise environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing, developing and enhancing mission-critical financial compliance applications
- Collaborating with globally distributed technology and business teams
- Influencing technical strategy, architecture and solution design
- Driving best practices across development, testing and delivery
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to developers and project stakeholders
- Working within an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software at scale
What We're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience with C#, .NET Framework and ASP.NET MVC
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, database design and query optimisation
- Proven experience building responsive web applications using JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX and Bootstrap
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, WebAPI, asynchronous development, LINQ and JSON/XML data processing
- Experience with TDD, automated testing and modern development practices
- Strong exposure to Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Ansible and CI/CD environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
Highly Desirable
- Experience within Global Markets, Investment Banking or Capital Markets
- Exposure to Equities, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, Commodities or Prime Brokerage
- Experience with Linq2Db, Telerik Kendo UI, LESS/SASS, Selenium, SSIS or Informatica
- Previous technical leadership or team lead experience
