Netflix’s Client and Partner Technologies (CPT) organization is chartered with enabling brilliant Netflix experiences on partner devices and building foundational client systems and tools. Within CPT, the Enablement Apps (EA) team is looking for senior software engineers to revamp and extend our suite of web applications that enable the future of our partner products lifecycle.
We are looking for senior full‑stack engineers to help us revamp our suite of web applications to enable the future of our partner products lifecycle. Our mission is to bring #NetflixEverywhere by collaborating with our partners effectively at scale. We focus on operational efficiency with technologies like Generative AI.
What you will do
- Design, build, test, deploy, and operate end‑to‑end full‑stack solutions (from backend services and integrations to modern web UIs).
- Drive new technical solutions from requirements / system design through to deployment, collaborating with other engineering teams where needed.
- Revamp and enhance existing tools and applications to improve reliability, usability, and alignment with current paved‑path technologies.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to scope problems, shape product decisions, and define solutions.
- Focus on streamlining and simplifying user experiences, whether for internal users or partners.
- Operate in a cross‑functional, dynamic environment, collaborating with colleagues across multiple disciplines and domains.
- Uphold high engineering standards through thoughtful design, code quality, testing, and scalable practices.
What we are looking for
- Solid experience with backend development (e.g., JVM – Java/Scala/Kotlin, Python, C#, or Ruby), building and consuming APIs (REST and/or GraphQL), and working with databases.
- Fluent in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern UI frameworks (React required; experience with other frameworks like Vue or Angular is a plus).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools and a track record of shipping high‑quality, well‑tested code.
- Ability to innovate through iteration; using prototypes and experiments to navigate solution ambiguity and passionate about data insight.
- Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot complex systems crafted with microservice architecture.
- Experience maintaining and improving legacy systems; can evaluate and speak to tradeoffs concerning refactor vs rebuild vs buy.
- Ability to learn and use in‑house software framework/components/service to build solutions effectively.
