Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend code supporting features used by 5 million users
• Develop backend features in TypeScript
• Participate in code reviews and team functions
• Provide technical leadership and guide technical direction
• Mentor and pair with other engineers
• Collaborate with product management and design teams on specifications and products using React.js and React Native

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of software engineering experience building full stack applications
• Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills
• Experience with JavaScript, Java, Python, C/C++, or Go
• Experience with a modern UI framework
• Effective communication and constructive feedback skills
• Understanding of monitoring and metric tools
• Experience in an Agile development environment
• Ability to explain system architecture and component design
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Node.js experience preferred
• Production React Native mobile application experience preferred
• Startup experience preferred
