Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (.Net/Angular)

Build and maintain enterprise investment-management software using .NET/C# back-end and Angular front-end, with a focus on automation, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Investment Operations is a product area within SimCorp’s Product Division, which delivers functionality enabling the operations users to be highly efficient. It also offers full STP and automation capability for the workflows and processes seamlessly across the product areas and the financial institutions workflows. As part of our Investment Operations Product Area, you will contribute to the development of enterprise products within this product area. You will collaborate with colleagues from Ukraine, Poland, Denmark and Germany, while gaining deep expertise in applied finance and modern software engineering practices.
What you will be responsible for
- Design, implement, and maintain new features across both front-end and back-end (SOA).
- Take technical ownership of feature delivery, ensuring high quality, scalability, and performance.
- Drive automation-first approach: design, implement, and maintain E2E, API, Integration tests.
- Perform manual exploratory testing for complex scenarios.
- Define test strategies at feature/module level.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and teammates during analysis, refinement, and development.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and participate in technical decision-making.
- Mentor and support less experienced engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Drive improvements in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and development tools.
- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices (XP, TDD, clean code).
- Engage in Sprint Reviews/Demos and continuous process improvements.
What we value
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience with C# (.NET or .NET Framework) and Angular.
- Extensive experience in designing and developing enterprise applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in automation frameworks and CI/CD.
- Solid understanding of manual testing techniques and QA best practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of Cloud and On-Prem infrastructures.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (Git, TeamCity, Azure DevOps).
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and building/managing pipelines.
- Readiness to learn APL, developing new features and debugging existing functionality, with full support from our team throughout the learning process.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns with experience in Domain Driven Design.
- Familiarity with XP practices (TDD, pair programming, CI).
- Experience with relational databases (SQL).
- Proficient English communication skills (Upper-Intermediate or higher), written and spoken.
- Ability to mentor, guide, and inspire other developers.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms.
- Background in FinTech or capital markets.
- Knowledge and experience in the financial domain, fintech, derivatives (options, futures, swaps, etc.) is an advantage.
