For a large financial organisation, we are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to work on applications used by internal and external customers.
You will be involved throughout the development lifecycle, from technical design and development to testing, deployment and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Develop modern web applications across frontend and backend
- Build backend services and APIs using C#/.NET
- Develop frontend applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
- Work with Azure and cloud-based services
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to application architecture and technical design
- Write automated tests and maintain high engineering standards
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX specialists, architects and other developers
- Take ownership of the quality and maintainability of your solutions
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Angular or Vue.js
- Experience with Azure
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of software architecture and clean code
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams
Nice to have
- Experience within banking or financial services
- Kubernetes or containerisation experience
- Experience with event-driven architecture
- Experience with automated testing
