Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Take responsibility for delivering new product functionality across the whole application, from what users see to the services behind it and its release. Work in a small, fast-moving engineering group on brand-new systems, alongside product and design colleagues, and help set up AI-assisted ways of writing software.
What you'll do
- Deliver product features across the entire stack, covering the user interface, server-side logic and release to production.
- Design dependable, scalable backend services for money-movement workloads, including account ledgers.
- Contribute to business workflow software that connects with regulated banking infrastructure.
- Help define AI-assisted engineering practices using TypeScript and React.
- Partner with product, design and fellow engineers to release work quickly and iteratively.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 4 to 8+ years of software engineering experience, with a lean toward backend work within a full-stack background.
- Hands-on experience across both client-side and server-side development.
- Experience building performant web applications, with a solid grasp of browser and server design.
- Familiarity with financial transaction systems, such as ledgers, disbursements or international transfers.
- Working knowledge of databases and message queues.
- Experience thriving in high-growth startup settings.
- Background at a large technology company, either before joining a startup or on a high-performing team.
- Degree in computer science from a leading U.S. university program.
- Ability to work on-site five days a week.
