Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Summary

Builds and maintains React/TypeScript frontends and Node.js/Express APIs, deploys to AWS, and optimizes enterprise-scale applications.

Overview:

This role is frontend-focused (React/TypeScript) with ownership of supporting Node.js/Express APIs and AWS cloud deployments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Independently design and implement features from requirements through production deployment
  • Break down complex customer requirements into technical solutions with minimal oversight
  • Perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex frontend and integration issues
  • Participate in architecture discussions and provides technical recommendations
  • Review code and contributes to engineering best practices

Basic Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI (CI Poly preferred but not required)
  • React/Typescript experience
  • Expert-level experience building enterprise-scale React applications using modern React patterns, hooks, context, reusable component design, routing, asynchronous data fetching, performance optimization, and TypeScript
  • Node.js / Express.js & REST API Integration –
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining secure RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
  • Proficient in implementing business logic, middleware, authentication, validation, and integrating frontend applications with backend services, enterprise workflows, and data models.
  • Modern state management
  • Experience managing complex application state using modern React patterns (Context, Zustand, TanStack Query, reducers) for enterprise workflows and interactive data visualization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS CDK experience
  • Experience developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK (TypeScript) for application deployments and cloud resources (Lambda, ECS, Fargate, S3, RDS, ALB,..)
  • Experience with Customer facing Development
  • Ability to work directly with technical leads and customers to rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver features based on operational feedback
