About the client
A leading German telecommunications and IT services company is opening a new Engineering & Technology Center in Poland. You’ll join the platform team behind the online shop of a major telecom provider.

About the project
The platform consists of around 20 micro-frontends and services that render everything customers see, from tariff tables to product pages. After seven years of development, the platform is entering its next stage: scaling, finishing the migration of legacy shops, paying down technical debt and adopting new API standards. The team is going all-in on AI-driven development, with coding agents, custom skills and spec-driven workflows at the core of everyday engineering.

Your responsibilities

• Develop the online shop platform, built on a micro-frontend architecture

• Own features end to end, from the React UI to the Java backend behind it

• Build backend services in Java, Spring Boot and WebFlux

• Integrate the shop with internal services and with customer and contract data systems

• Migrate legacy shops and reduce technical debt

• Use AI coding agents as your primary way of working

Must have

• Several years of commercial experience in web application development, working independently at senior level

• Java 8+ (familiarity with Java 25), Spring Boot (familiarity with Spring Boot 4) and REST APIs

• Reactive programming: Spring WebFlux, Project Reactor or a similar stack

• React, TypeScript, HTML and NPM, and comfort working on both frontend and backend

• JUnit, Mockito, WireMock, JPA/Hibernate, Git

• XML processing (XSLT, XPath, XQuery)

• Kubernetes and Docker

• Microservices and distributed systems

• Daily work with AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, OpenCode or similar)

• English at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Micro-frontend architecture

• Helm, Jenkins CI/CD

• Headless CMS (NEOS CMS is a plus)

• Legacy system migrations and refactoring

• BDD and test automation (e.g. Playwright)
