Senior Fullstack Developer (Python/React)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer (Python/React) based in Brazil.

This is an opportunity to join a multidisciplinary engineering team building modern, distributed applications for complex business environments. You will work across the full stack, combining Python backend development with React and Next.js to deliver scalable digital products. The role involves microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud infrastructure, and modern DevSecOps practices. You’ll contribute to technical decisions, address technical debt, improve system performance, and help establish engineering standards across projects. Artificial intelligence is an integral part of the development workflow, with opportunities to use AI to accelerate delivery and improve engineering productivity. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and clients in an agile environment where knowledge sharing, autonomy, and continuous innovation are highly valued. If you live in the Campinas Metropolitan Region, regular presence at the local offices will be required according to the applicable workplace attendance policy.

• Design, develop, maintain, and evolve complex applications using Python on the backend with frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask, combined with React and Next.js on the frontend.
• Build modern distributed applications and microservices using event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka and similar platforms.
• Contribute to and influence technical architecture decisions, helping manage technical debt and implementing refactoring initiatives that create measurable business value.
• Ensure application quality, reliability, security, and stability through DevSecOps practices, automated testing, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure high engineering standards and maintainable solutions.
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines that automate builds, testing, and deployments across AWS cloud environments.
• Identify and resolve application performance, scalability, and reliability issues across frontend, backend, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Design and optimize APIs using RESTful and/or GraphQL approaches to support scalable and maintainable distributed systems.
• Document technical solutions, engineering processes, architectural decisions, and relevant operational practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, development frameworks, cloud capabilities, and software engineering practices.
• Share knowledge and promote engineering best practices, modern technologies, and effective development approaches across the team and with clients.
• Encourage and apply artificial intelligence as a productivity and delivery accelerator throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience developing fullstack applications using Python with Django, FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks, together with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Advanced knowledge of microservices architectures and experience designing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Strong expertise in caching strategies, performance optimization, and techniques for improving application scalability.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS, S3, API Gateway, and related cloud technologies.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as non-relational technologies such as MongoDB and Redis.
• Knowledge of database performance optimization and query optimization techniques.
• Practical experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools for automated software delivery.
• Experience with messaging systems, asynchronous communication, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and automated testing tools and practices.
• Experience working in large-scale development environments is a strong advantage.
• Practical knowledge of observability, resilience, monitoring, and reliability engineering practices is desirable.
• Strong communication skills, autonomy, ownership, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
