Summary
A senior fullstack developer builds and maintains scalable web applications end-to-end with ReactJS, NextJS, NodeJS, and NestJS in TypeScript, writing tests (Jest, Cypress) and contributing to CI/CD workflows. Day to day they collaborate with designers, PMs, and other engineers, mentor juniors, and join code reviews and Agile ceremonies in São Paulo.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain modern, scalable front-end and back-end applications using ReactJS, NextJS, NodeJS, and NestJS
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using TypeScript
- Implement unit tests using tools such as Jest and React Testing Library
- Optimize performance, scalability, and user experience
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product owners
- Review and mentor the work of junior developers
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Stay up to date with development technologies and trends
Requirements
- Strong overall experience in software development
- Strong expertise in ReactJS, NextJS, NodeJS, and NestJS
- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Jest, Mocha, and Cypress
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, and responsive web design
- Familiarity with Redux, Zustand, or Recoil
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and client-server integration
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git, GitHub, or GitLab
- Advanced architectural perspective for large-scale projects
- Knowledge of Docker, Terraform, and Azure DevOps
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
- Ability to lead UI development initiatives from concept through execution
- Advanced English proficiency for oral and written communication with an international team
