Senior Fullstack Engineer

We would like to meet a Senior Fullstack Engineer for a project with a hybrid working model based Porto (2x/week).

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of experience in software development (with a strong focus on enterprise-grade applications).
• Deep proficiency in Java (17 / 21), with a solid understanding of object-oriented principles, design patterns, and clean code.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot (3.x), Spring Cloud, Maven and Git.
• 6+ years of experience with Angular (preferably with knowledge of the latest versions).
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release.
• Knowledge of Microservices.
• Knowledge of SQL databases (Ex. Oracle);
• Knowledge of with NoSQL databases (nice to have).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services such as:

- Compute & Containers: GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine), Cloud Run, App Engine.

- Database & Storage: Cloud SQL, Spanner, or Cloud Storage.

- CI/CD & Serverless: Cloud Build, Cloud Functions (nice to have).

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum/Kanban, Jira).
• Proficiency in English - minimum B2 level (mandatory).

Responsibilities:

• Act as a key technical reference and actively participate in the Agile development team throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and maintain testable, efficient, scalable, and reusable high-quality code.
• Architect and implement user-friendly, high-performance interfaces using Angular.
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications and microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new business features and architectural improvements.
• Integrate secure APIs and ensure seamless, high-performance communication between frontend, backend, and cloud services.
• Participate in code reviews, establish coding standards, and maintain high code quality standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and profile applications to optimize performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously drive innovation and technical excellence within the team.
• Prepare, deliver, track, and automate platform releases in hybrid/cloud environments, interacting proactively with other teams.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical growth.
