About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join an exciting digital development team working on solutions that support store planning and commercial planning for a large international organisation.

In this role, you will work across both frontend and backend development, building a new digital hub that brings together planning tools, data, insights, and content into one seamless user experience. You will be responsible for delivering features end-to-end, from APIs and integrations to user-facing interfaces.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced fullstack engineer who enjoys working across the stack, collaborating closely with product and UX teams, and taking ownership of production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver production-ready features across both frontend and backend

• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React and TypeScript

• Develop backend services and integrations using Node.js and TypeScript

• Design, develop and consume REST APIs and OpenAPI services

• Connect data, planning tools and content from different systems into a coherent user experience

• Work with databases and SQL to support application functionality and data flows

• Build component-driven interfaces and contribute to design systems

• Collaborate closely with Product, UX and engineering teams to develop solutions based on user needs

• Work with existing architecture and contribute to its continuous improvement

• Contribute to secure, scalable and cloud-based applications

Requirements:

• Strong professional experience in fullstack development

• Solid hands-on experience with React and TypeScript

• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript

• Good knowledge of REST APIs and OpenAPI / Swagger

• Experience with database technologies and SQL

• Experience integrating different systems and working with data flows

• Experience with component-driven UI and design systems

• Experience with cloud-hosted and containerised applications

• Understanding of authentication, authorisation and secure application design

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and modern software engineering practices

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Comfortable working closely with Product and UX teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with Three.js, React Three Fiber, Autodesk APS or similar 3D technologies

• Experience with headless CMS solutions such as Contentful

• Experience with dynamic page rendering

• Experience with event-driven architectures

• Experience with observability tooling

• Experience with AI-assisted development or AI integrations

• Experience within retail, store planning or commercial planning
