Senior Fullstack Engineer
You will build and maintain React trading interfaces and TypeScript backend services. You will develop real-time features using WebSockets, design REST and WebSocket APIs, create event-driven data pipelines, index blockchain events, connect smart contracts with off-chain services, and maintain comprehensive tests and API documentation. You will also optimize frontend performance and collaborate with product, design, and quant stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the React-based trading UI
- Implement real-time interfaces for order books price feeds and trade executions
- Own component architecture state management and responsive design
- Optimize rendering and minimize load times
- Design and maintain TypeScript services REST APIs WebSocket servers and background services
- Design event-driven pipelines for pricing and account data
- Own REST and WebSocket API contracts
- Maintain API documentation
- Index blockchain events and bridge smart contracts with off-chain services
- Develop unit integration and end-to-end tests
- Uphold CI quality gates and code review standards
- Work with product design and quant stakeholders
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in fullstack development
- Deep expertise with TypeScript across frontend and backend
- Strong experience with React and modern state management
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and WebSocket protocols
- Proficiency with Node.js or Bun
- Experience with PostgreSQL and an ORM such as Prisma
- Familiarity with Redis or similar caching and pub/sub systems
- Knowledge of unit integration and end-to-end testing methodologies
- Effective communication in a fully remote cross-functional team
- Experience with Rust or C++ is preferred
- Familiarity with ethers.js or viem and client-side wallet integration is preferred
- Knowledge of Kafka Google Pub/Sub or similar messaging systems is preferred
- Experience with Datadog Prometheus or Winston is preferred
