Senior Functional Consultant (SAP FICO)
Summary
A senior SAP FICO functional consultant role: leads complex design and implementation of SAP finance and controlling solutions, including integrations, data migration, architecture decisions, and performance optimization. Core technologies: SAP FI/CO, CFIN, integrations with MM/SD/PLM/PS and third-party systems like Tibco, Adyen, and Cybersource.
We are looking for a Senior Functional Consultant within SAP FICO, to lead complex design and implementation work across finance, controlling, integrations, and data migration. This role combines deep functional expertise with strong solution leadership, supporting the delivery of scalable, high-availability SAP solutions while guiding technical decisions, optimizing processes, and ensuring business requirements are translated into effective system outcomes.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the project’s design and implementation, covering everything from infrastructure and architecture to operations;
· Drive the team in a complex technical environment;
· Examine the business context of the solution and evaluate the technical approaches for their impact on operational processes;
· Design and optimize data processing, migration and ingest workflows;
· Develop and maintain highly available and multi-region solutions
· Ensure performance optimizations throughout the project lifecycle;
· Collaborate with backend engineers, AQAs and performance QA teams to deliver high-quality resolutions;
· Participate in architecture discussions and make decisions on design;
Requirements:
- 10+ years of functional expertise in SAP FI/CO, including Financial Accounting, Controlling, integrations, CFIN
- Strong Financial Accounting experience across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, CFIN data replication
- Solid Controlling experience covering Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
- Experience integrating SAP FI/CO with MM, SD, PLM, and PS modules.
- Experience integrating SAP with third-party systems such as OmniHub, Tibco, Adyen, Cybersource, and SAP CAR.
- Extensive experience developing functional specifications for interfaces, custom programs, and reports.
- Hands-on experience with Solution Manager, uPerform, Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW), and ASAP implementation methodology.
- Solid experience delivering SAP solution trainings, webinars, and presentations.
