Senior Fundraising Manager
Institutional Fundraising | CSR Partnerships | Grants
Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience
Location: New Delhi
Reporting to: COO
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8 years of experience in institutional fundraising, CSR partnerships, philanthropic grants or corporate fundraising, preferably within the education, development or social-impact sector.
- Demonstrated experience in personally securing institutional funding, with a clear understanding of the fundraising lifecycle—from prospect identification and relationship building to proposal development, closure and disbursement.
- A track record of handling meaningful fundraising targets, ideally having secured ₹1–3 crore annually, depending on the size and nature of previous roles.
- Strong experience engaging with corporate CSR teams, foundations, philanthropic institutions and other institutional funders.
- Ability to develop compelling proposals, funding pitches, concept notes and budgets in collaboration with programme and finance teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- A target-oriented mindset, with the ability to independently manage a funding pipeline and deliver measurable outcomes.
Good to have
- Exposure to government grants, tenders and RFPs.
- Experience in education, skilling, career guidance, youth development or related social-impact programmes.
- Familiarity with impact reporting, grant utilisation and donor compliance.
Who Should Apply?
We are looking for a hands-on fundraising professional who can demonstrate what they have personally raised, how they secured it, and the funding actually committed or received.
Professionals whose experience is primarily in sales outreach, lead generation, general business development or partnership coordination—without direct ownership of institutional fundraising outcomes—may not be the right fit.
Candidates who combine a proven fundraising track record with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to grow a sustainable funding pipeline will be especially well suited to this role.
