Job Description

We are looking for experienced Senior GCP Cloud Engineers with 810 years of hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud infrastructure, and cloud architecture for freelance, part-time project support.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform.
• Work with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions.
• Configure and manage cloud networking, IAM, security, and access controls.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Implement serverless solutions using Cloud Run and Cloud Functions.
• Monitor infrastructure performance using Google Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
• Manage cloud migration, backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams on cloud solutions.
• Provide technical support for ongoing GCP cloud projects.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Infrastructure and Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery.
• Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Docker, and container orchestration.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Terraform.
• CI/CD tools – Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• GCP Networking, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Security.
• Serverless technologies – Cloud Run and Cloud Functions.
• Monitoring and logging – Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and Shell Scripting.
• Experience with cloud migration, automation, and cost optimization.
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect / Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification preferred.
