Senior General Manager - Automotive Logistics Operations & Supply Chain

Exciting Job Opportunity for an accomplished and result-oriented Senior General Manager to lead large-scale automotive logistics operations for a leading logistics organization.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing end-to-end 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) operations, driving business growth, and leading large, diverse teams across multiple locations.

This leadership role calls for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in operational excellence, P&L management, strategic planning, and people leadership.

Experience working with Japanese automotive OEMs or automotive logistics organizations will be highly preferred.

Job Profile:

- Lead and oversee end-to-end automotive logistics and supply chain operations across multiple sites and customer locations.

- Manage large-scale operations comprising 3,000+ employees, including permanent, contractual, and outsourced workforce.

- Drive operational efficiency, productivity, quality, and service delivery in alignment with customer SLAs and organizational objectives.

- Own and manage the complete Profit & Loss (P&L) for the business unit, ensuring revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost optimization.

- Develop and execute long-term business strategies to support organizational growth and expansion.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and leadership teams.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other operational excellence methodologies.

- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives.

- Establish robust governance frameworks, KPIs, dashboards, and review mechanisms to ensure operational performance.

- Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, labour, and regulatory requirements across locations.

- Partner with commercial and business development teams to support new business opportunities and customer acquisitions.

- Lead transformation and automation initiatives within logistics operations to enhance productivity and customer experience.

- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on market trends, operational risks, and business opportunities.

Candidate Profile:

- 25+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, and Operations Management.

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in leadership roles within 3PL logistics organizations, managing large 3PL companies in the automotive industry, or complex supply chains.

- Demonstrated experience managing teams of 2,000+ employees across multiple locations.

- Strong expertise in Automotive Logistics and Supply Chain Operations.

- Proven track record of managing large-scale P&L responsibilities.

- Experience handling both permanent and contract workforce at scale.

- Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.

- Excellent stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.

- Exposure to digital transformation, warehouse automation, and process optimization initiatives.
