Your Opportunity
Our Edmonton geotechnical team is looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to fill the role of Technical Lead and Senior Technical Reviewer. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on engineering and geotechnical projects in a multi-discipline project team environment. Working in our Edmonton, Alberta head office where many of Stantec’s design projects take place, it is expected that your broad technical skills will help continue to grow the geotechnical team.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Promote a strong health and safety culture in the team
- Provide technical leadership on projects or complete quality/independent reviews of technical work on projects
- Work on a variety of small to large projects spanning from transportation, residential, commercial, and industrial developments as well as linear corridors and geohazard work
- Mentor, coach, and train less experienced professionals as required, encouraging growth and succession within the team
