About the role
We are seeking a Senior Golang Developer to join our client, a Web3 Solution Provider in a full-time capacity. . As a Senior Golang Developer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing robust backend systems that power next-generation blockchain and decentralised applications. This position reflects the strategic importance we place on technical excellence and innovation within a growing development team.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs using Golang for Web3 applications and blockchain platforms
Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable microservices that support distributed systems and decentralised protocols
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design and DevOps to deliver robust Web3 solutions
Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, ensuring code quality and best practices
Optimise system performance, security and reliability across production environments
Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to technology decisions that shape our platform
Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system availability
Stay current with Web3 technologies, blockchain frameworks and emerging best practices in the industry
What we're looking for
6+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years specializing in Golang development
Proven expertise in building scalable, high-performance backend systems and microservices architectures
Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies and Web3 ecosystems
Experience with distributed systems, concurrency patterns and system design at scale
Proficiency in RESTful API design and experience with message queues or event-driven architectures
Solid knowledge of databases (both relational and NoSQL) and data management principles
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong communication skills and experience mentoring or leading junior developers
Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
