We are looking for a Senior Golang Engineer to build scalable, high-performance backend systems and APIs. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to develop reliable services, improve system performance, and contribute to the overall technical architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang.
- Build scalable REST or gRPC APIs and microservices.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Develop event-driven systems using messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Improve application performance, reliability, and security.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews, deployments, and production troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, with strong hands-on experience in Golang.
- Good understanding of concurrency, goroutines, channels, and Go best practices.
- Experience building APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of SQL, databases, caching, and message queues.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong problem-solving and system-design skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and automated testing.
