About CampusMind CampusMind is an AI workforce automation platform for higher education, built around AI agents that handle Accessibility, Virtual Teaching Assistant, IT Support, and Recruitment work for colleges and universities. We're a small, fast-moving marketing team looking for a designer who can turn ideas into finished creative work with minimal hand-holding. The Role We're looking for a designer who can own the full range of our creative output, not just web or just graphics. You'll take an idea from us (a campaign concept, an event, a product update) and run with it: sketch it out, build it, and go back and forth with us until it's ready to ship. This starts as a part-time role. After a two-month trial, we'll reevaluate together for a full-time position based on how the work and the fit are going. What You'll Do Design social media graphics and posts across our channels Build email templates and campaign creative Create one-pagers, sales collateral, and marketing materials for events and sales conversations Design graphics and marketing material for our conference and trade show booths (from badge to backdrop) Design web pages and web assets (landing pages, product pages, banners) Edit simple video content (highlight reels, short social clips, demo cut-downs; not heavy VFX or motion graphics work) Bring a real understanding of how AI and emerging tech work, since CampusMind itself runs on AI. We want ideas that reflect a grasp of what the product actually does and where the space is heading, not just visual polish Apply B2B marketing sense. What resonates with an IT director or a campus CIO is different from consumer marketing, and we want someone who already gets that Work collaboratively and iteratively. We'll bring you a rough idea, and you'll help shape it into something we can use What We're Looking For A portfolio that shows range across digital, print, and social design (not just one lane) Comfort with basic video editing tools (e.g. Premiere Rush, CapCut, or similar) for simple, non-complex edits Proficiency in standard design tools (we work in Figma and Canva) Genuine interest in or working knowledge of AI and current tech trends Comfortable working from loose briefs; you'll often be handed a concept and need to shape the execution yourself Strong communication skills for a back-and-forth, iterative creative process Nice to Have Experience designing for trade show booths or in-person events Familiarity with the higher ed or edtech market Basic motion graphics skills (even if not required day-to-day)
