Senior Guideline Coding Analyst (6 month FTC)

Are you an experienced investment compliance professional with a passion for translating complex investment guidelines into robust technology solutions? We're looking for a Senior Guideline Coding Analyst to join a high-profile strategic transformation programme, playing a key role in the migration of investment compliance monitoring onto a new Charles River platform. This is an opportunity to work across global teams, influence critical business outcomes, and help shape the future operating model of a leading asset management business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reviewing and recoding investment compliance rules within the Charles River Investment Management System
  • Analysing investment guidelines and prioritising coding activities to support programme delivery
  • Logging and tracking data gaps, escalating issues where rules cannot be fully coded
  • Performing validation testing to ensure coding outputs align with business and regulatory requirements
  • Conducting comparisons between strategic and legacy compliance monitoring systems to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborating with fund managers, traders, technology teams, consultants and external vendors across global locations
  • Contributing to the development and documentation of coding standards, procedures and violation management processes
  • Supporting programme governance by providing updates on progress, risks, issues and deliverables

Who we’re looking for:

  • Significant experience within investment management, with a strong focus on investment compliance
  • Proven expertise working with Charles River and/or State Street investment management platforms
  • Experience implementing and testing investment guideline rules and comparing strategic solutions with legacy environments
  • Strong understanding of data structures, system integrations and how compliance monitoring platforms utilise data
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage confidently across business and technology teams
  • Experience working within large-scale transformation, migration or change programmes
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence would be advantageous
