Salary compensation will begin once Timple.ai is generating sufficient revenue to support it. The right person should be comfortable joining at this stage for equity and helping us build the company toward revenue. About Timple.ai Timple.ai is an 18+ AI companion platform focused on creating more engaging, personalized, visually exciting, and emotionally meaningful AI relationships. The platform is already built and live. We are now focused on improving the product, strengthening user engagement and retention, improving onboarding and conversion, and building the next generation of AI companion experiences. What We Are Looking For We are looking for a Senior Hands-On AI Engineer — Generative AI, Image/Video + Full Stack who can work directly in the codebase while also helping shape the creative and product direction of Timple.ai. This is not only a traditional software engineering role. A major priority for us right now is finding someone who is very strong in AI image generation and character consistency and who can help us build characters that stay recognizably the same across hundreds of images, different clothing, poses, expressions, environments, and eventually moving images and video. We are especially interested in hands-on experience with technologies and techniques such as FLUX, Stable Diffusion/SDXL, LoRA, ControlNet, IP-Adapter, InstantID, PuLID, ComfyUI, DreamBooth, reference-image conditioning, or similar generative visual AI systems. Experience with AI video generation, moving images, animation, voice, lip-sync, or multimodal character experiences is a strong plus. Creative Vision Is Very Important We want someone who can think beyond an engineering task list. The ideal person has strong visual judgment, imagination, product instincts, and an artistic eye. You do not need to be a professional designer, but you should be able to look at an AI character or experience and understand how to make it more attractive, realistic, emotionally engaging, consistent, and memorable. We want someone who can bring ideas for: * AI character creation and personality * Image generation and character consistency * Moving images and video generation * Voice and multimodal interaction * Character stories and visual identity * Emotional engagement and retention * New features that make users want to stay, return, and pay * Improving the overall look and feeling of the product Hands-On Engineering The person should also be comfortable working directly in the product and codebase, including: * Building and debugging production features * Improving conversational AI behavior * Long-term memory and continuity * Personalization * AI integrations and APIs * Backend and frontend development * Performance and latency optimization * Testing and troubleshooting * User engagement and retention features * Onboarding and conversion improvements * Production deployment and infrastructure We are looking for a builder, not someone who only manages engineering teams. We especially value people who are proactive, move quickly, investigate problems independently, and bring solutions and new ideas without waiting for every task to be written for them. The strongest candidate will combine technical strength + generative AI expertise + visual creativity + product thinking. Equity and Growth Equity will depend on experience, contribution, and milestones. Over time, the strongest person may have the opportunity to grow into a broader technical or product leadership role within the company based on demonstrated contribution, leadership, knowledge, creativity, and fit.
