A. Assist the Director of Business IT & Claims Administration and PrimeWest Health staff in the following as needed:
- EDI Development/Support
- FHIR and Health Care Interoperability
- Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Interoperability and Service Authorization Readiness
- Technical Leadership and Operational Support
Professional Competencies
- Expertise in healthcare data exchange standards, including HIPAA X12, HL7, FHIR, APIs, and EDI.
- Experience with integration development, ETL, data validation, production support, and secure data transfer.
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability, CMS requirements, security, privacy, and data governance.
- Proficiency with SQL, relational databases, and programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript).
- Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, QA, and release management practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and leverage approved AI tools to improve efficiency.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Experience with SQL, reporting, automation, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex issues, adapt to changing priorities, and work collaboratively.
- Ability to perform computer-based work for extended periods.
