A full-time Senior Healthcare Executive Recruiter position is available in the Dean’s Office at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. The Sr. Healthcare Executive Recruiter serves as a strategic partner in the acquisition of executive, physician, and other key healthcare leaders across the organization. Through deep industry knowledge and consultative engagement with stakeholders, this role helps strengthen the organization's leadership pipeline and supports continued growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and execute senior level/executive/provider and other critical healthcare leadership searches across assigned business units.
  • Develop customized search strategies, sourcing plans, market-mapping activities, and candidate attraction approaches aligned with strategic hiring objectives.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of healthcare executives, physicians, clinical leaders, and specialized healthcare professionals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership regarding talent acquisition strategy, workforce trends, labor market conditions, and candidate availability.
  • Provide insights regarding competitive recruiting practices, talent trends, and organizational positioning.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to develop position specifications, candidate profiles, and assessment criteria.
  • Conduct comprehensive candidate interviews using behavioral, competency-based, and leadership assessment methodologies.
  • Evaluate candidate qualifications, leadership capabilities, organizational fit, and long-term potential.
  • Prepare executive-level candidate assessments, profiles, summaries, and recommendations for leadership review.
  • Develop strong partnerships with academic, clinical, physician, and executive leadership stakeholders.
  • Deliver executive-level search updates, candidate presentations, and recruitment recommendations.
  • Maintain relationships with external talent networks and professional organizations and ensure a high-touch professional candidate experience.
  • Manage multiple concurrent executive and physician recruitment engagements with attention to quality, timeliness, and communication.
  • Monitor search progress, timelines, milestones, and performance metrics while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws, policies, procedures, and documentation expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, sourcing methodologies, and candidate engagement practices.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

  • Seven (7) years of recruiting or related experience.

Additional Qualifications Considered

  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred
