| Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. |
Key Responsibilities\:
The appointee is a core member of the Hospital Planning & Facility Management Division and will be assisting the Cluster General Manager (Administrative Services) and Cluster Manager (Hospital Planning and Facility Management) in hospital planning & facility management matters. The appointee will be responsible for the following functions and duties\:
| 1. | To formulate strategies and work plan on cluster equipment planning, management and replacement. |
| 2. | To formulate cluster’s strategic direction in equipment management and work closely with Hospital Equipment Managers as well as Department Equipment Managers to implement equipment management policies and practices. |
| 3. | To oversee annual equipment bidding exercise of the Cluster with regular reporting to Cluster Management. |
| 4. | To manage cluster maintenance budget for medical and non-medical equipment, monitor the performance of contractors and coordinate equipment maintenance services of the Cluster. |
| 5. | To collaborate with the Central Technology Office on healthcare technology management related matters and provide executive support to NTEC’s Technology Advisory Committee. |
| 6. | To develop and implement equipment safety programs; handle equipment safety incidents including coordination of investigation and implementation of corrective/safety measures. |
| 7. | To review and monitor utilization of major and selected minor equipment in the Cluster. |
| 8. | To serve as Cluster System Administrator of Asset Management System. |
| 9. | To assist with general administration of the Cluster Procurement and Supplies Unit as and when necessary. |
| 10. | To assist in other duties as assigned by Cluster General Manager (Administrative Services) and / or Cluster Manager (Hospital Planning and Facility Management), NTEC |
Entry Requirements\:
| 1. | Good general education preferably up to tertiary level. |
| 2. | Minimum two years’ hospital administration experience at Hospital Administrator I level. |
| 3. | Possession of formal management or hospital administration qualification is an advantage. |
