Senior HR Business Partner
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner based in United States.
This is a hands-on HR leadership role responsible for building and operating the people processes that support a rapidly scaling organization.
You will own critical employee lifecycle programs, from onboarding and offboarding to performance management and career development.
The role also includes implementing and optimizing an HRIS to create scalable, efficient workflows as the organization grows.
You’ll partner closely with managers and employees, balancing strategic HR judgment with day-to-day execution.
A strong focus on AI-enabled process improvement will help modernize HR operations while maintaining appropriate compliance and documentation.
You’ll work in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment where you can build foundational programs and have a meaningful impact on company culture and employee experience.
Accountabilities:
- Own the implementation and ongoing configuration of the HRIS, including job architecture, workflows, employee lifecycle processes, and system setup needed to support organizational growth.
- Lead performance review, merit, promotion, and calibration cycles, ensuring processes are effective, consistent, and well communicated.
- Develop and evolve career pathing frameworks that provide employees with clear expectations and opportunities for professional growth.
- Build and operate effective onboarding and offboarding programs that create a strong employee experience while maintaining consistent and compliant processes.
- Manage employee recognition programs and contribute to learning and development initiatives that strengthen manager and employee capabilities.
- Support benefits administration and annual broker renewal activities, helping ensure rewards and benefits remain competitive, efficient, and clearly understood.
- Support employer-sponsored immigration and mobility needs, including H-1B-related processes, in collaboration with external counsel.
- Partner directly with managers on performance, employee development, and people-related decisions, providing practical and trusted HR guidance.
- Use AI-powered tools and modern HR technology to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, track outcomes, and scale people operations responsibly.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliant tracking across HR processes, with appropriate attention to data handling, consistency, and bias mitigation.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve people programs and operational processes as the organization grows.
- 8+ years of experience in HR, HR Business Partner, or comparable people-focused roles.
- Demonstrated experience building and operating HR processes within a growth-stage organization.
- Hands-on experience implementing and configuring an HRIS such as Rippling or a comparable platform, including job architecture, workflows, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Direct experience running performance reviews, merit cycles, promotion processes, and/or calibration programs.
- Experience developing or supporting career pathing frameworks.
- Experience building or managing employee recognition and/or learning and development programs.
- Experience using AI-powered tools to make HR processes more efficient and scalable, with a strong understanding of compliant use, data handling, documentation, and avoiding bias in AI-assisted decisions.
- Strong ability to combine strategic HR thinking with hands-on operational execution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the credibility to advise managers while maintaining the trust of employees.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing recurring HR processes and sensitive employee information.
- Experience operating in an enterprise SaaS environment is preferred.
- Multi-entity or international HR experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Pave, Carta, or comparable compensation benchmarking tools is advantageous.
- Experience supporting benefits administration and broker renewals is preferred.
- Experience supporting employer-sponsored immigration cases, including H-1B or similar programs, is a plus.
- Annual salary range of $170,000–$210,000.
- Compensation may vary based on location, skills, qualifications, competencies, and overall experience.
