SENIOR HR MANAGER
Job Description
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and processes aligned with the Company’s business objectives, organisational culture and operational needs.
- Work closely with Company Directors and key stakeholders to support HR and administrative functions across the Company.
- Support the management of manpower and workforce-related matters across construction projects and business operations.
- Maintain and improve HR systems, processes and digital employee records, ensuring proper documentation and effective internal controls.
- Support management in employee performance, training and development, staff engagement and workforce planning.
- Assist in identifying training needs and performance gaps, and coordinate appropriate training and development activities.
- Support employee engagement and employer branding initiatives to promote a positive working environment and employee retention.
- Coordinate with management, project teams and administrative staff on employee-related and operational matters.
- Assist in managing staff records, internal policies, staff communications and HR-related administrative processes.
- Support the implementation and improvement of company policies and procedures relating to employees and workplace operations.
- Assist management in monitoring manpower requirements and supporting workforce planning for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Coordinate HR and administrative projects and ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
- Analyse operational and workforce information and recommend practical improvements where necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and company information.
- Perform other HR, administrative and management support duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma qualification.
- At least 2 years of working experience in administration, business operations, management support or a related field.
- Experience in the construction, engineering or project-based industry will be an advantage.
- HR-related experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Candidates with experience in staff coordination, workforce administration, employee engagement or supporting management will have an advantage.
- Strong interest in developing a career in Human Resources and business operations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with management, employees and project teams.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, resourceful and responsible, with good execution and follow-up skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced construction environment.
- Good understanding of business operations and ability to work with different departments and project teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HR or administrative systems will be an advantage.
- Able to handle confidential employee and company information professionally.
- Candidates with experience supporting multiple projects or business units will have an advantage.
