Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites that will deliver low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will join a team of experts developing PCBA hardware for advanced antenna systems. This is deeply challenging work: the boards you design are highly complex, integrating sensitive RF circuitry, high-speed SERDES links, and a wide range of interfaces on a single PCBA. If you want to push the limits of hardware design and see your work fly in space, this is the team for you. You will own or contribute to the following:

• Design and optimize the hardware blocks that make up complex electronic systems
• Develop proof-of-concept systems and prototypes for the next generation of electronic hardware
• Implement RF circuits on PCB in close collaboration with the RF team
• Design automated test systems, test fixtures, and factory test processes
• Lead bring-up and test campaigns for hardware that integrates active antennas
• Lead and review PCB layout

Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
