Job description:
We are looking for a Senior ICT Project Manager to own delivery outcomes for ICT infrastructure projects in Thailand, including data center fit-outs and structured cabling. Based in Chonburi, you will lead projects from kickoff through handover and hold internal teams, contractors, clients, and vendors accountable to the agreed schedule, scope, quality, safety, and technical specifications. This is a delivery ownership role rather than a coordination-only position. You must be prepared to raise risks early, challenge missed commitments professionally, and use sound technical judgment to protect project outcomes. Thailand projects can be affected by site access, local contractor coordination, permit or client approval timelines, material lead times, and changing priorities. You will adjust plans quickly while maintaining clear records, change control, and accountability. Success means projects are delivered on schedule, or risks are escalated early with evidence and a recovery plan. Requirements must be verified before testing and commissioning, and changes must be communicated clearly to both local and regional stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Own the master schedule for ICT infrastructure projects from kickoff to handover, tracking every dependency down to the trade and vendor level
Run a tight change-control and RFI process — no verbal agreements, no undocumented scope creep
Audit deliverables against contract requirements and technical specs personally, not just via team sign-off
Call out schedule slippage, quality shortfalls, or non-compliance the moment they're identified — to contractors, clients, or internal leadership, regardless of seniority or relationship
Chair progress and stakeholder meetings with a clear record of commitments, owners, and dates; follow up in writing every time
Escalate early and in writing when a stakeholder is not delivering against agreed commitments, with a documented trail of prior communication
Manage commissioning, testing, and punch-list closeout with zero tolerance for "close enough"
Coordinate with Thailand-based site teams, local contractors, vendors, clients, and regional project delivery functions to maintain clear cross-functional handoffs.
Run short, iterative planning cycles (weekly sprints, daily stand-ups, rolling look-aheads) so the plan adapts quickly to site conditions, vendor delays, or shifting client priorities — without losing traceability to the baseline
Distinguish fast between what's negotiable (sequencing, resourcing, method of approach) and what isn't (contractual dates, safety, spec compliance), and reset plans accordingly rather than defaulting to "no"
Maintain project records and site documentation in the format required by the client and company, coordinating Thai and English documentation where needed.
Report project health with unfiltered, evidence-based status — no greenwashing amber or red items
Requirements and skills
7+ years managing ICT, data center, or telecom infrastructure delivery projects
Working technical fluency in structured cabling, network infrastructure, M&E coordination, or data center fit-out
Track record of holding contractors and clients to contractual commitments, including escalation when needed
Excellent documentation discipline — meeting minutes, RFIs, variance logs, and change orders that would hold up under audit
Comfortable delivering hard messages clearly and professionally, without softening findings to preserve a relationship
Comfortable working in agile or hybrid agile/waterfall environments — able to replan quickly when circumstances change, without treating the original plan as sacred for its own sake
Good command of English for client, vendor, and project documentation. Thai language capability is required for day-to-day coordination with local contractors, site teams, and authorities.
Able to work on site in Chonburi and travel to other project locations in Thailand when required.
PMP, PRINCE2, and/or Agile/Scrum (CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent) certification preferred
Experience delivering projects in Thailand is required. Familiarity with Thai construction practices, site safety requirements, contractor management, permits, and client compliance processes is strongly preferred. Regional APAC experience is an advantage.
Others
Based at the project site office in Chonburi, Thailand. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., subject to project and site requirements.
Other responsibilities as and when required by the manager.
Ability to provide support during and outside regular business hours is required.
