Senior Implementation Manager / Senior Cutover Manager
Sydney (Mascot) | 12 month Contract | Leading Australian Airline | Start 30 November 2026
Are you an Implementation or Cutover Manager who has led go-live for large ERP, WMS or MRO programs, ideally in aviation or another asset-intensive industry?
We're partnering with a leading Australian airline's Engineering division, which is replacing its legacy supply chain systems with Manhattan Active, IFS Maintenix and Oracle. They need a Senior Implementation Manager to own the path from approved design into live operation, without disrupting the supply of parts to maintenance operations.
The program includes a site-by-site warehouse and transport rollout across approximately 80 locations, followed by a single enterprise cutover for inventory, purchasing and finance.
The Rundown of the role....
As the single point of accountability for cutover, go-live and hypercare, you'll:
- Own the cutover and implementation strategy, including site wave sequencing, rollback principles and blackout windows.
- Run a repeatable site readiness framework with clear go/no-go criteria.
- Lead cutover rehearsals and hold the system integrator and vendors to rehearsal exit criteria.
- Lead the Command Centre through each go-live and make go/no-go and rollback recommendations to the Steering Committee.
- Design the hypercare model and transition each site into BAU support.
- Led cutover and go-live for large ERP, WMS or MRO implementations, including at least one multi-site phased rollout.
- Ran a command centre in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Managed a system integrator alongside multiple vendors.
- Practical understanding of data migration, reconciliation and ITIL-aligned hypercare.
- Credible with executives, frontline teams and vendors.
- Highly desirable: aviation or MRO experience (please call this out in your CV), and exposure to Manhattan Active, IFS Maintenix or Oracle.
- Lead a major enterprise-wide supply chain transformation at a leading airline.
- Based at the Mascot Supply Chain Distribution Centre (minimum four days per week in the office).
- Authority to call a hold or rollback, and the chance to build a cutover model others will repeat.
If you're an Implementation or Cutover Manager with multi-site ERP or WMS go-live experience, we'd love to hear from you.
