Business Alliance HR is recruiting a Senior Implementation Engineer for a High Tech Company offering digital healthcare solutions, located in Ramallah, Palestine.

Summary of the Role:

The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend applications (JAVA). The ideal candidate has strong experience with Java, Spring ecosystem, APIs, databases, system design, and production-grade software engineering practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
   

2. Build RESTful APIs and backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
   

3. Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or Redis.
   

4. Participate in system architecture, technical design, and code reviews.
   

5. Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
   

6. Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
   

7. Troubleshoot production issues and support incident resolution.
   

8. Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps, frontend developers, and other stakeholders.
   

9. Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
   

10. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud-native development.
    

11. Ensure software follows best practices for logging, monitoring, error handling, and documentation.
    

Requirements

1. Strong knowledge of Java 8+ / Java 11 / Java 17.
   

2. Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
   

3. Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
   

4. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code.
   

5. Experience with databases, SQL, and ORM tools such as Hibernate/JPA.
   

6. Experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, or similar tools.
   

7. Familiarity with Git, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
   

8. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
   

9. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deployment.
   

10. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    

11. Good communication skills and ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
    

12. AI-Assisted Development Experience
    

1. Hands-on experience using Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI coding tools in day-to-day software development.
   

2. Ability to use AI tools responsibly for code generation, debugging, test creation, refactoring, and technical documentation.
   

3. Understanding of how to review, validate, and secure AI-generated code before production use.
   

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with event-driven systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
   

2. Experience with distributed systems and microservice architecture.
   

3. Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
   

4. Experience with security best practices, OAuth2, JWT, and identity management.
   

5. Experience with performance tuning, caching, and high-availability systems.
   

6. Previous experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives.
   

Required Years of Experience:

5+ years of relevant experience in Java Backend development.

Education:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
