Senior Information Security Analyst
Summary
A Senior Information Security Analyst joins the Security team in West Malling, Kent, supporting the Information Security Manager to embed security across IT projects and operations. Day-to-day is hands-on Microsoft cloud security: designing, configuring and assuring Azure, Microsoft 365, MS Sentinel, MS Defender and Azure firewalls, plus security risk assessments.
Salary: £65,000 - 72,600 per year
Requirements:- Experience configuring MS Sentinel and MS Defender as well as Azure firewalls
- A background in security project work
- Experience designing and validating security solutions for projects
- Strong communication skills
- Support our Information Security Manager in ensuring security is effectively embedded into IT projects, change initiatives and operational processes
- Provide secure design, configuration and assurance of Microsoft cloud services, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and associated security, identity, compliance and monitoring tooling
- Use hands-on Microsoft cloud security expertise to assess project designs, define security requirements, and validate delivered solutions
- Configure MS Sentinel and MS Defender as well as Azure firewalls
- Provide security and risk assessment consultancy on projects, change initiatives, and other formal workgroups and committees
