Senior Information Security Engineer

  • Lead advanced vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat modeling exercises
  • Collaborate with and provide technical guidance to the SOC team on complex threats, targeted attacks, and advanced persistent threat (APT) scenarios
  • Design and implement architectures for new security tools, automations, and workflows to improve detection and mitigation capabilities
  • Oversee security technology lifecycle management, including upgrades, integrations, and vendor evaluations
  • Participate and lead incident response efforts for critical security events, guiding investigation teams and coordinating with external partners when required
  • Perform and oversee forensic investigations, providing in-depth root-cause analysis and post-incident reports to executive stakeholders
  • Establish and refine incident response playbooks for various threat scenarios
  • Provide expert-level technical input during the creation, review, and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures
  • Lead and facilitate complex Information Security Reviews and due diligence for high-impact projects and third-party engagements
  • Advise management on emerging risks, compliance trends, and alignment with international frameworks
  • Participate in the design of security awareness initiatives
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and assist in the adaptation of campaigns based on emerging threat trends
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field or equivalent extensive industry experience
  • Minimum 5–7 years in Information Security, with at least 3 years in a senior, lead, or architect-level role
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing enterprise security systems and architectures
  • Strong proficiency in threat analysis, vulnerability management, SIEM/SOAR systems, and security control frameworks
  • Deep understanding of compliance requirements and security governance principles
  • Professional certifications strongly considered an asset (e.g., CISSP, CISM, OSCP)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and lead security projects from concept to completion
